old.poetry.rediscovered

it's about freakin' time

my head has cleared.
you're inlove with your beard.
silly, we both were, i guess it's alright
it's time to do what i know is right...

i can't love a lie.
i can't live two lives.
so don't standbye
i can't be your friend.

it's not you, it's not me.
it's just not meant to be.
it's not worth getting mad.
just forget everything we had.

you will forget this by tomorrow
and you'll forget all this sorrow.
you will find someone new
who will love you for you...
'cuz it wont be me.
it's activated when you sleep
(at least mine is)
it's weird, but lots of things creep
and for some reason, i find it laughable
a mind vitiated, clearly unkept
polluted thoughts; gaunt, emaciated girl
a reflection of her delicate silhouette
she stops and stares
each vice calling out,
staring her in the face
defeated once again by her reflection

Blood

it's not creepy

Cheeeecago, I am missing thee
