i am a personal fan of fashion illustration because i studied fashion marketing for 2 years before i decided that i wanted to pursue painting and drawing. so of course, i am a sucker for Cate Parr 's watercolour work. i think that her style is just PRETTY, and sometimes you need something pretty to look at for no reason than to observe the beauty. i am also drawn to her loose brush strokes and the electric blues combined with the pastel hues. i needed this today. thanks, cate! she offers original art, mini paintings and prints — sooooo many choices and they are all breathtaking. like many artist, if you want a custom piece, you can request it and she'll make it. sweet, eh?
